My Dearest Love by JOse Shakespeare Hernandez

My Dearest Love
by JOse Shakespeare HErnandez (MofO2?

To my dearest love I write this piece,
To the one who never leaves my heart:
The one who never leaves my mind
And the one who never leaves my soul.
The picture in my head of you is everlasting.
As if it were burned into my brain.
Everytime you pass by, my heart skips a beat.
Everytime you look at me, I feel speechless.
Everytime I talk to you, it feels like a moment of heaven.
Everytime you smile at me, I feel my heart melt.
Whenever you're happy, it brings a smile to my face.
No matter how down I may feel, you can always bring me up.
I appreciate you more than words can describe.
But you give me this feeling of emptiness inside.
Everywhere I look, something reminds me of you.
So I can't forget all the pain and hurt that stays inside of me.
I've been betrayed and hurt before, but nothing has ever hurt more
Than the look in your eyes when you say, "I can't".
Even though I pray to god for, "I will".
All that runs through my mind all day is, why do I hurt myself?
Why do I make the wound in my heart deeper?
The more I think about it, the harder it is to let go.
The harder it is to let go of my dearest love.
