Dizzy

I am spinning
beneath the shimmer of the stars,
my heart is burning
from the love that has poisoned me.
My head is dizzy,
from the stream of words you recite
I'm drowning in a world
that is too amazing for me.
I look through your translucent eyes
that were once blue,
and touch your concrete hands
that were once soft.
My cheeks are sore
from the tears that won't stop flowing
as I spin beneath
the gleaming stars and
I wonder..
Where are you?
