An Angel on Earth

The pure thought of his touch
Sends chills throughout her body,
That voice of his, so deep and yet so beautiful,
Does a wonder to her heart.
His jokes, his laughter,
His smile; which is only a mere picture painted
in her mind from a voice,
Warms her when she is cold, directs her when she is lost,
And comforts her when she is hurt.
When tears of sorrow or pain fall,
And her heart seems unmendable,
He puts the pieces back together,
Even though the destruction wasn?t his,
He does it willingly and thoughtfully.
When it would have been easier to walk away,
He stayed without being asked,
Those actions speak for themselves,
And now she no longer questions how he feels for her.
So when the question is asked,
?What do you feel for him??
She can proudly say
?I put him on a pedestal.
Isn?t that where an Angel belongs??
Brad, I know I have hurt you, and I'm sorry.
I am truly sorry.
